Skye + Matt, and their little girl Bambi, were big smiles and chilled vibes from the get-go. Ellie from the amazing Sunshine Weddings contacted me as Skye + Matt were looking for a casual, romantic and fun elopement-style Ceremony…. Yes Please!

“Matt saw me at a friend’s party. Then he slid into my facebook direct messages back in early 2011. I was only 15 and he was 17 at the time. It took him almost a year of chasing me and a couple of rejections by me, but on 1st Jan 2012, I finally said yes to being his GF. Exactly 10 years later to the day, we will be married!”

Arriving in Old Skool Kombi’s style, Skye, Matt and Bambi were treated to a beautifully Boho styled wedding ceremony area, then after a ceremony full of memories, anecdotes and vows to melt your heart. The newlyweds then strolled the beach and enjoyed a delicious charcuterie board courtesy of Journey Street Food. Locally sourced fare was on the menu, and as Skye, Matt and Bambi ate and toasted their marriage, surf crashed in on Noosa main beach as their dining vista.

Bambi was a dream throughout and seemed a talisman of the mood. She was relaxed, inquisitive at times, and the epitome of chilled: like a little chip of the old blocks!
